Massage therapy with a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT). Massage consists primarily of hands-on manipulation of the soft tissues of the body, specifically, the muscles, connective tissue, tendons, ligaments and joints for the purpose of optimizing health.

Massage therapy treatment has a therapeutic effect on the body and optimizes health and well-being by acting on the muscular, nervous and circulatory systems. Physical function can be developed, maintained and improved; and physical dysfunction and pain and the effects of stress can be relieved or prevented through the use of Massage Therapy.

Swedish
The goal of Swedish Massage is to melt away muscle tension and increase the blood flow to your heart. Swedish Massage is extremely therapeutic as it decreases muscle toxins, increases oxygen levels in the blood, and improves flexibility in the body.

The following add-ons can be added to any massage
Hot Stones - $20
Essential Oil - $10
Cupping - $20

Hot stone massage is a customized massage, with the use of smooth, heated stones that are placed on key points of the body. Hot stone eases muscle stiffness, increases circulation and melts away tension.

The premise behind hot stone massage therapy is that the direct heat of the stones relaxes muscles, allowing the therapist access to their deeper muscle layers. Combining hot stone protocols with a full body massage provides a very healing and effective experience. The hot stones also expand blood vessels, which encourages blood flow throughout the body. The hot stones have a sedative effect that can relieve chronic pain, reduce stress and promote deep relaxation.

Benefits of Hot Stone:

Provides relief from pain associated with fibromyalgia, arthritis, carpal tunnel syndrome and other chronic conditions
Decreases pain and muscle spasms while increasing circulation and blood flow
Reduces chronic stress and tension
Increases flexibility in joints, aiding in easier mobility and movement
Relieves pain and tension created by strained and contracted muscles

Combining essential oils and massage therapy can see almost instant results when applied properly. Although some essential oils can make a change to a person’s mental and physical health by simply inhaling them, when essential oils are applied through massage to assist in easing pain the combination of oils and manipulation using massage has also been shown to have immediate results on muscle tissue. Effective relief from musculoskeletal pain can also be achieved with the use of essential oils containing natural analgesics and anti-inflammatory properties as well as anti-rheumatic and detoxifying capabilities.

Cupping therapy is an ancient form of alternative medicine in which a therapist puts special cups on your skin for a few minutes to create suction. People get it for many purposes, including to help with pain, inflammation, blood flow, relaxation and well-being, and as a type of deep-tissue massage. The goal of Chinese cupping therapy is to move stagnation of blood and chi, disperse internal heat, and other applications based on Traditional Chinese Medicine diagnostic.

Experience the revitalizing warmth of our infrared sauna. Our state-of-the-art sauna uses infrared waves to penetrate deeply into the skin, promoting detoxification, relaxation, and improved circulation. Unwind and rejuvenate your body and mind in a serene environment.

Infrared saunas are known for their potential health benefits, such as relaxation, improved circulation, and muscle pain relief. However, the recommended duration for an infrared sauna session can vary based on several factors including an individual's tolerance to heat, health conditions, and the specific goals they have for using the sauna. Here are some general guidelines and considerations regarding the time spent in an infrared sauna:

Initial Sessions:
• If you're new to infrared saunas, it's advisable to start with shorter sessions to see how your body reacts to the heat. A starting point might be 10 to 15 minutes per session.

Gradual Increase:
• As your body gets accustomed to the heat, you may gradually increase your session time. A common session length is around 30 minutes, but some people may extend their sessions to 45 minutes or an hour.

Individual Tolerance:
• Everyone's tolerance to heat is different. It's important to listen to your body and not to overdo it. If you start to feel uncomfortable, dizzy, or otherwise unwell, it's time to exit the sauna.

Medical Conditions:
• If you have any medical conditions or are pregnant, it's crucial to consult with a healthcare professional before using an infrared sauna. Some conditions may warrant shorter session times or may warrant that sauna use should not be used at all.

Frequency:
• The frequency of sessions also matters. Some people might use an infrared sauna daily, while others might use it a few times a week.

Hydration:
• Staying hydrated before, during, and after your sauna session is crucial as you will be sweating and losing fluids.
